Introduction
A static site or static page is a type of website that consists of fixed content—typically simple HTML, CSS, and media files (e.g., images, audio, and video)—delivered to the user exactly as it is stored on the server. This content does not change and cannot be modified by viewers, hence the term "static."

- Braun's Static Product Site
For example, a simple blog with text and images is static, while an e-commerce or social media site, where users can alter available stock or create and display posts, is dynamic.
Due to their simplicity, static websites are easy to set up and launch. Content is created and published once, and maintaining these sites usually involves editing basic HTML or CSS files.

- U.S. Web Design System Static Documentation Site
Static sites are often used for web-based portfolios, resumes, blogs, and documentation. Today, many platforms offer tools and templates that simplify the process of building a static site. Hosting a static site can even be free on platforms like GitHub (GitHub, 2024) or very inexpensive, as with Amazon Web Services (AWS, 2024).
This project will focus on developing a static site training program from the perspective of a fictional higher education institution called "State University," located in the American Midwest.
